Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients. This dish can be classified as simple and fast, if the beans are soaked overnight, then in the morning it will take no more than forty minutes to cook it. Previously, dry beans must be washed and filled with cold water so that there is twice as much water, during the night the beans will swell and increase in volume.
Step 2:
In the morning, drain the water from the beans and rinse it again. Fill the beans with fresh cold water, put the saucepan on the fire and cook for about 30 minutes over medium heat.
Step 3:
At the end of cooking, add a little salt, cook for about 5 more minutes, until the beans are soft, but you can not digest it so that it does not boil. When the beans are ready, drain the water, rinse again.
Step 4:
Meanwhile, prepare the tomato sauce. Onions are cleaned and finely chopped. Carrots are washed, cleaned and grated on a medium grater. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan. Put the chopped onion on it and fry until golden brown. Add to the vegetables, if desired, pre-washed and chopped fresh parsley. Stir fry for about 2 more minutes on medium heat.
Step 5:
Then pour tomato paste into the pan with herbs. Mix it up. Add ground black pepper and salt to taste. Pour in a small amount of water. Simmer, stirring the mass periodically, for about 3 minutes. Add finely chopped garlic. Stir and simmer until the sauce thickens.
Step 6:
Then pour in the boiled beans, stir, simmer for about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat, let the beans stand under the lid in a saucepan for about 10 minutes. We serve it to the table. This dish is delicious both warm and cold. Bon appetit!
