Cooking method

Cooking time: 14 h

1. Break the eggs, separate the whites from the yolks. Whisk the proteins with a mixer until a dense foam forms.

2. And pour warm water to the yolks, pour sugar, salt and add yeast. Mix everything well.

3. Sift flour into the resulting mixture, knead the dough. The dough turned out sticky, quite thick.

4. Now add the softened butter to the dough, mix.

5. Next, we spread the whipped whites to the dough in parts and continue to mix, thus interfering with all the proteins.

6. Now the dough has become liquid, it is similar in consistency to sour cream. We leave the bowl with the dough in a warm place for proofing. It should fit.

7. After about an hour, pour the dough into a baking dish (it can be a baking sheet with a high side). The form is pre-lined with parchment.

8. Leave the dough for another half hour. Let him come a little more. After that, we send it to an oven already preheated to 160 degrees.

9. Bake the pie until fully cooked. To do this, we pierce it with a wooden skewer - if it comes out dry, it's ready. In each oven, the baking time is different, it depends on the type of oven (gas, electric), individual characteristics. When the pie becomes ruddy - you can check for readiness.

10. Pour sugar into a saucepan, pour milk, break an egg here. Mix the cream until smooth with a hand whisk.

11. We send the pan to a slow fire. Continuously stirring, bring the mass to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes.

12. Add a little vanilla to the cream, mix. Cool it down. To make the cream cool down faster, the pan can be placed in a large bowl with cold water. This will speed up the process.

13. Beat the butter until fluffy, add it to the cream. The cream should be at room temperature.

14. Cut the pie into two parts. Spread the cream on the bottom cake, cover with the top. We send the pie to the refrigerator. This is necessary in order for the cream to freeze. We leave the pie in the cold for 8-10 hours (it can be overnight).

You can decorate the delicacy according to your taste: sprinkle with powdered sugar or decorate with whipped whites. But we do this already before serving.

Enjoy your health!
