Step 1:
Products for the Old Miller salad. Potatoes, carrots, eggs, chicken fillet are boiled, cooled. The eggs have been peeled from the shell. Mushrooms are cleaned and thoroughly washed.
Step 2:
Chop onion and mushrooms coarsely.
Step 3:
In a pre-heated frying pan, we get rid of excess water mushrooms, stirring them. Then we put them in the dishes.
Step 4:
Put the onion in the same pan and fry until half-cooked.
Step 5:
Add mushrooms to the onion and fry everything until cooked, salt and pepper. Cool it down.
Step 6:
Grate carrots and potatoes on a coarse grater. We put aside some carrots to decorate the salad.
Step 7:
Cut into thin slices salted or pickled cucumbers. Squeeze out the excess liquid, drain. Cut the fillet into strips.
Step 8:
Grate cheese on a coarse grater, finely chop eggs. Let's put aside a piece of cheese to decorate the salad.
Step 9:
Let's start assembling the salad. Lubricate each layer with a small amount of mayonnaise, sprinkle with a small amount of cheese. We leave the cheese specially to cover the top layer of the salad, hide it in the refrigerator so that it does not chafe. We put the cooled mushrooms with onions on a large dish, this is the first layer of salad. Grease the top with a little mayonnaise, sprinkle a little cheese.
Step 10:
The next layer is potatoes. Salt, pepper, grease with mayonnaise, sprinkle with cheese.On top - a layer of cucumbers, mayonnaise, cheese.
Step 11:
Next: carrot-mayonnaise-cheese.
Step 12:
Next layer: lay fillets, pepper, salt - mayonnaise - cheese. Then: eggs-mayonnaise. We put the salad in the refrigerator for several hours to impregnate the layers. We take it out before serving and rub the specially left cheese on top.
Step 13:
I decorated the finished salad with a cheese and carrot mill, grass and dill and parsley trees. That's it, the salad is ready. Have a pleasant tasting!
