Cooking method
The recipe for pineapple jam is similar to the recipe for any other jam, so it will not be difficult to cook it.
Pineapples should be peeled and then cut into pieces of the required size.
The resulting slices are put in a saucepan, preferably enameled.
Sugar syrup must be prepared from sugar and water.
We pour our pineapples with ready-made syrup and stand for 8 hours (or just leave it overnight).
Then drain the syrup, bring it to a boil and pour it over the pineapples again.
Put the mixture on the stove and cook pineapple jam until fully cooked over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Pineapple jam is still hot poured into dry clean jars and closed with lids.
Turn the closed jars over and leave them in a warm place, covered with a blanket.
The jam is completely ready after a day.
Pineapple jam turns out to be quite thick and can be used as a filling for pies and buns.
