Eggs stuffed with cod liver

A simple and delicious snack without long cooking. Especially when the eggs are already boiled. Such an appetizer is very relevant after Easter, when there are still a lot of krashenok in every family and there are them just like that, as if you don't want to. This recipe is a matter of minutes, but there is a variety on the table. Many people have also heard about the liver of cod, the product is delicious and keeping a jar in stock is not even superfluous: it will come in handy in salad and roll. And in combination with egg yolks, the taste is harmonious, slightly salty, seasoned with herbs and, I must say, without a sharp fishy smell.

Cooking time: 30 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

Prepare the products. Rinse the greens under cool water and dry them. Boil the eggs for 15-16 minutes from the moment of boiling and immediately cool them under cold water, they need "hard-boiled".

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Then cut the eggs in half, separate the yolks into a deep bowl. Separate the parsley leaves from the stems and chop very finely. If desired, you can add other favorite greens, I often add a sprig of cilantro, dill and a small stalk of green onions.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Mash the yolks thoroughly, a fork will do well with this.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Drain the oil from the cod liver and add to the yolks. Again, work well with a fork, kneading and rubbing the mass, to achieve uniformity.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

    Pour in the greens, stir.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Remove the sample, add salt if necessary. Add a little mayonnaise, but without too much. If desired, sprinkle a little pepper. Mix everything well, the mass should be homogeneous and plastic, but not liquid.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Fill the egg halves. This can be done with a teaspoon or use a pastry syringe, bag. Decorate at your discretion. On weekdays I just use parsley leaves or dill greens. For a festive table, you can cook in the form of a themed boat; cut the bottom of the half of the protein a little for stability, put it on toasted toast bread / it should not be large /, stick a skewer-mast with a cucumber sail into the yolk mass.

Cod liver is a product that contains a lot of fat, so it's worth noting right away that its frequent use is not recommended. But it is these fats that are the main sources of benefit of the product.

The main advantage of cod liver is that it contains fish oil, which is well absorbed. This allows you to save the nitrogenous material necessary for the construction of new tissues. In addition, there are a lot of other positive aspects.

By the way, the chemical composition of the canned product is preserved, since the liver is not processed. It will be immediately, raw, stirred into jars, which means that it remains useful.

Cod liver is indispensable for athletes and must be included in their diet, because the rich vitamin composition helps to quickly restore the body after exercise. The most important thing is not to forget about the quantity, because excessive use of it is fraught with consequences.

First of all, make it a rule that high-calorie and fatty liver should be eaten in the first half of the day so that it has time to digest. It does not matter whether it is in its pure form on bread or as part of some dish - only until 12 o'clock in the afternoon.

Fish lovers, the taste of such a snack can definitely taste. Well, for those who do not like fish, maybe it's worth trying at least once, maybe the tastes will change ..
