To make jam according to this recipe, you will need a kilogram of frozen berries. At the same time, they do not need to be defrosted in advance. Pour the frozen berries directly into a large container. If there is too much ice, you can pour them first into a colander and rinse with boiled water, then let the excess moisture drain.

Next, you need to prepare sugar syrup, for which we pour the specified amount of granulated sugar into an enameled saucepan of a large size. Then pour water. We put the saucepan with the future syrup on a slow fire and constantly stir its contents. Cook the syrup until all the sugar crystals dissolve. Let the syrup cool down to room temperature.

We transfer the honeysuckle to a saucepan with the prepared syrup and leave it to stand for an hour. After this time has passed, put the pan on medium heat, bring its contents to a boil, and then reduce the heat to a minimum and cook the jam for 10 minutes.

At this time, we prepare cans and lids - they must be sterile. The method of sterilizing cans in the microwave is perfect. to do this, pour a little water into each jar and send it to the oven for 3 minutes. Boil the lids in water for a couple of minutes.

We lay out the finished jam directly boiling in sterile jars of small sizes, close with sterile lids. Let the jam cool completely during the day at room temperature. After it needs to be stored in a cool place, but, as a rule, it does not stay there for a long time, as it turns out incredibly tasty and fragrant!

Jam is ready!
