- First, thaw the seaweed in the microwave on a low (defrost) setting. 2. Then tip the seaweed into a sieve and rinse it thoroughly under running water until the sliminess is gone. 3. Boil the rinsed seaweed in boiling salted water for 15 minutes, then rinse again under running water and transfer to a deep salad bowl. 4. Hard-boil the eggs, peel them, dice them, and add them to the seaweed. 5. Dress the salad with mayonnaise and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve — it's especially good with rice. Enjoy!
