Mint Glazed Cookies
Homemade cookies — give them a try, they're delicious! These mint-glazed cookies are easy to make at home and taste far better than anything from the store. The recipe calls for peppermint extract, but if you happen to have a homemade peppermint infusion on hand, even better. Bake them in shaped molds, or simply roll them out and bake on a sheet pan.

- Pour the sugar into a saucepan, add the water, set it over the heat, and simmer for about 5 minutes once it comes to a boil. Stir the peppermint extract into the syrup. 2. In a large bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, add the butter, crack in the egg, and pour in the syrup you made earlier. Knead into a soft, pliable dough, shape it into a ball, and chill it in the refrigerator for half an hour. 3. Grease silicone molds with vegetable oil, fill them with dough, and bake in an oven preheated to 350°F (180°C) for 25 minutes. 4. Put the powdered sugar in a small bowl and stir in one tablespoon of water mixed with a few drops of peppermint extract. Brush the glaze over the cooled cookies — it helps them stay soft longer. Now pour the tea and dig in. Enjoy!
