- Rinse the chicken feet well and trim off the nails. 2. Put the feet in a pot, cover with cold water, and add the rice vinegar. Once it comes to a boil, season with salt and add the sugar. Cook for 5 minutes from the moment it boils, then drain off the water and let the excess liquid run off. 3. Set a saucepan over the heat, let it warm up, and add the vegetable oil. Fry the feet a few at a time until golden and crisp. 4. Stir together the soy sauce with the rest of the ingredients and add a cup of water. 5. Pour the sauce into the pan with the fried feet and cook for 20 minutes. Serve the dish hot.
