Pasta with Shrimp in Cream Sauce and Onion

A mouthwatering dinner — be sure to give it a try! You can use any pasta you like in this recipe. I've made it with spaghetti, homemade noodles, and elbows — it always turns out delicious! I highly recommend it; it makes a great dinner!

    1. Sauté the shrimp in olive oil for 5 minutes, then add a little hot water (about 100 ml) and simmer for another 5 minutes.
    1. Take the cooked shrimp out of the pan, let them cool a little, then peel off the shells. Strain the cooking liquid the shrimp simmered in through a sieve.
    1. Make the sauce in a small saucepan: pour in the strained cooking liquid and the cream, and set it over the heat. Once the sauce warms up, add the peeled shrimp along with the pepper, salt, garlic powder, and flour, stir, and cook for 2–3 minutes.
    1. Cook the pasta in lightly salted water until done, then drain it in a colander.
    1. Divide the pasta among plates and spoon the creamy shrimp sauce over the top. Slice the onion into thin rings and scatter them over the dish; you can also add fresh dill if you like.
