Grape Compote (Stovetop)

A refreshing drink that gives you energy and a boost! That's not just flowery talk — it's the honest truth! See for yourself by making grape compote at home. Vitamins, plus great aroma and flavor — it's all beautifully balanced. A wonderful alternative to all those colas and sodas, and trust me, that goes for grown-ups too, not just kids!

    1. Bring water to a boil in a pot of suitable size.
    1. Rinse the grapes under running water and pull them off the stems.
    1. Add the grapes to the boiling water (I lower them in with a slotted spoon so I don't burn my hands) and add the sugar.
    1. Once the compote returns to a boil, lower the heat and cook for another 5–7 minutes.
    1. Cool the compote to room temperature, then pour it into pitchers and refrigerate for at least an hour.
    1. Be sure to serve it cold (a couple of ice cubes won't hurt — in fact, they'll only make it better).
  • Have a wonderful day!
