Kystybyy on milk

Tatar cuisine never ceases to amaze! Cook and enjoy! Today we had an interesting breakfast – kystybyy. And I "borrowed" a recipe from Tatar cooks. The dish is hearty - it will help you live until lunch. It is prepared quickly, although you still have to knead the dough. But what can't you do for your beloved family?

The dough is prepared very simply:

- pour the milk heated to room temperature into a bowl, add sugar, salt and melted butter. Gradually introduce the sifted flour, knead the dough. It turns out to be elastic and very plastic. It's a pleasure to work with him.

The filling is crushed potatoes:

- boil the potatoes and knead, adding salt and milk. In the finished puree, add the onion fried in vegetable oil.

And the last thing to do is tortillas:

- divide the dough into 6 parts, roll out each part thinly. Fry in a frying pan on both sides in vegetable oil.

Immediately put the filling on the hot tortilla. The filling is not put on the whole cake, but on one part of it, the second part of the kystyby is covered. We lubricate the top abundantly with butter.
