Lingonberry Sauce from Jam
Easy to make and a pleasure to eat — you've got to try it! If you want to give a dish a one-of-a-kind taste and aroma, reach for a favorite sauce. It'll do the job beautifully and earn you plenty of praise and compliments. My go-to has become this lingonberry sauce made from jam. I had some sweet preserves left over from last year, and I've been putting them to good use.

- Out of habit, I make this sauce in a skillet, but use whatever pan is convenient for you. Pour the port into a deep-sided skillet, then add the sugar, vinegar, and lingonberry jam. Stir everything together and cook over low heat until the mixture reduces and thickens. The result is a vibrant, spiced sauce that will dress up and round out any dish. Enjoy!
