Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a delicious salad from Peking cabbage? Prepare all the necessary products.
Step 2:
Peel the carrots and garlic, remove the top damaged hard sheets from the Chinese cabbage. Drain the juice from the canned corn. Rinse all vegetables under running cold water.
Step 3:
Cut the Peking cabbage into thin strips. Place in a large cup, salad bowl or bowl.
Step 4:
Grate the carrot on a coarse grater, add to the cabbage. You can use a grater for Korean salads, so the carrots will look more appetizing.
Step 5:
Chop the smoked cheese with a grater and add it to the salad bowl.
Step 6:
Send canned corn to all the ingredients.
Step 7:
The last touches are left, grate the garlic on a fine grater, or pass it through a garlic press. Send the garlic and mayonnaise to the salad bowl. The amount of mayonnaise can be increased at will. I don't particularly like salads that "float" in mayonnaise, so I try to add it to a minimum. A salad with homemade mayonnaise will be very tasty.
Step 8:
Mix the salad thoroughly, try. If necessary, add salt to taste. I do without salt, it's enough for me that the cheese is salty enough.
Step 9:
The salad is ready, you can serve it! Sprinkle with chopped herbs and ground pepper, if desired.
Beijing Chinese cabbage is a unique and very healthy vegetable. Tender cabbage leaves are very juicy, so they are added to salads, vegetable sandwiches and much more. Cabbage contains a whole set of useful vitamins, amino acids, mineral salts, proteins and so on.
In the salad, which is presented in the recipe, the amount of any ingredient can be changed to your liking.
Cooking Peking cabbage salad is very fast, and this is undoubtedly a big plus when there is no time.
On hot summer days, put the finished salad in the refrigerator for a while and serve it chilled.
Bon appetit!
