Rooster salad with smoked chicken, tomatoes and cheese

Delicious salad for the New Year's table in the form of a symbol of the coming year. We often prepare this salad because it is very tasty and quite simple. I offer it to your attention. The cockerel at the head of the festive treats is sure to bring good luck next year!

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 10 min

1. Boil the eggs, cool, peel from the shell. Cut into cubes.

2. Cut the chicken into cubes about 1 cm in size.

3. Bulgarian pepper should be finely chopped. Leave some of the pepper for decoration.

4. Cut two thirds of the cheese as well as the rest of the ingredients.

5. Chop the tomatoes finely, put them in a colander to drain the excess juice.

6. Mix the ingredients, season the salad with mayonnaise. Add it little by little - it is important not to overdo it with the sauce, otherwise the salad will not keep the desired shape. Add salt if necessary.

7. Put the salad on a wide, beautiful plate, giving it the shape of a rooster.

8. Grate the remaining cheese on a fine grater, decorate the salad with it on top.

9. From the pieces of red bell pepper, lay out the scallop, beak and beard. The tail and wing are made of multicolored stripes.

10. The eye of the cockerel is a pea of allspice.

11. Put the grass - dill twigs down the cockerel.
