Homemade Crème Brûlée Ice Cream

An incredibly delicious ice cream straight out of childhood. A tasty treat made at home — better and more wholesome than store-bought. Its caramel flavor wins over kids and grown-ups alike, and it's wonderfully easy to make. The prep takes just 30 minutes; after that it's only the freezing — 3 to 4 hours, depending on your freezer. Cooking method

    Gather the ingredients. It's best to chill the cream in the refrigerator before whipping so it's nice and cold.

    Put the sugar in a saucepan, add 1 tablespoon of water, and heat over low heat, stirring...

    Once the sugar has fully melted and turned to caramel, pour in the milk in a thin stream and stir well so the caramel dissolves into it. You can add a drop of vanilla extract for aroma.

    Then, stirring occasionally, cook over low heat for another 15–20 minutes. After that, cool the milk-caramel mixture completely.

    In a separate bowl, whip the cream.

    Fold the whipped cream into the cooled milk-caramel mixture. Mix well.

    Pour it into a freezer-safe container and put it in the freezer. Stir the mixture every half hour so ice crystals don't form. In 3–4 hours, your ice cream will be ready to enjoy!
