Step-by-step cooking
So let's get started. Boil the pasta in a large amount of salted water (for about 8 minutes or look at the time indicated on the package). We throw the finished pasta into a colander, do not pour out the broth. We cut the onion into a small cube (you can take more or less onions, focus on the taste). Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and send our onion. Fry the onion until soft, you do not need to fry it too much.
My tomatoes are cut into quarters and whipped into puree in a blender. Tomato puree is rubbed through a sieve and sent to a soft onion. Bring the mixture to a boil. If the tomatoes are very watery, then the sauce can be boiled a little. Add ready-made tomato sauce to the pan (I took homemade ketchup, you can not add it or add tomato paste, this is for a richer taste), stir, season with salt, pepper and sugar, you can also add dried basil, oregano.
Add green peas (instead of green peas, you can use string beans, Brussels sprouts or broccoli disassembled into small inflorescences or something else to your taste). Simmer the peas in the sauce for a few minutes.
Add the peeled shrimp and also simmer for a couple more minutes.
Put the finished pasta in the pan, mix with the sauce, if the pasta has absorbed all the sauce, add a little broth that we left. We warm up the pasta with the sauce for a couple of minutes and serve it to the table. If desired, sprinkle each portion with grated Parmesan. Enjoy your meal!
