Wonderful low-calorie cabbage schnitzel will delight with its taste. Ease of preparation Cabbage schnitzel is a delicious second course, but there is not enough meat in it for my taste.

The cooking recipe is useful for those who, for some reason, do not eat meat, but at the same time try to diversify their vegetable diet as much as possible.
We wash the cabbage and remove the upper leaves from it. Cut the head into four equal parts and remove the stalk.
In a saucepan, boil lightly salted water and cook the cabbage in this water for about five minutes until it becomes soft.
We throw the boiled cabbage into a colander and let the water drain completely.
We disassemble all four pieces into separate leaves.
Beat the egg lightly, add salt and pepper.
Dip each cabbage leaf in an egg, and then roll it in breadcrumbs.
Then fry each leaf in butter until golden brown.
In this simple way we get schnitzel from cabbage.
