To make melon compote, we need to thoroughly rinse this vegetable, peel, remove the seeds and cut the pulp into small cubes. Cover the pieces of melon with sugar and refrigerate for a couple of hours. Then you need to boil water, pour it over the melon and literally boil for a couple of minutes. It remains only to wait until our compote cools down, pour it into glasses and drink with pleasure.
