Squid with Rice
A really tasty main course for seafood lovers! The seas and oceans keep our tables stocked with seafood, and squid is a great example — it gives us protein the body needs, along with valuable minerals and trace elements. And it's not just healthy; it's genuinely delicious. Squid pairs well with all kinds of ingredients — vegetables, rice — and you can stuff it, boil it, fry it, grind it for patties and casseroles, or use it as a filling for crêpes. I recently made squid with rice and loved it: simple and tasty.
Cooking method

Step 1:
Ingredients
-
Step 2:
Thaw the squid bodies, rinse them well, and boil them in salted water. They don't need long — just 3–4 minutes after the water returns to a boil.
-
Step 3:
Let the squid cool right in the cooking water, then cut it into thin strips, like homemade noodles.
-
Step 4:
Core and seed the thick-walled bell peppers, rinse them, and cut them into strips to match the squid. Rinse the dill and green onion under running water and chop them.
-
Step 5:
In a bowl, combine the cooked rice, squid strips, and bell pepper. Season with salt to taste and a little aromatic black pepper.
-
Step 6:
Dress everything with your favorite mayonnaise, and it's ready to eat.
-
Step 7:
Enjoy!
