Pasta with Shrimp and Tomatoes
A stunning pasta recipe — feel like a local in Genoa! Until last Saturday, the only pasta combinations I knew were with meat, mushrooms, or sugar, but a very close friend of mine managed to surprise me with something unusual: pasta with shrimp. It's an unusual dish in every way, and I'd urge everyone to make it at least once — which is exactly why I'm sharing the recipe.

Cooking method
- Start by boiling the pasta until it's half done. Peel the shrimp. Peel the tomatoes and cut them into small cubes, finely chop the garlic, and finely chop the olives. Heat a skillet over medium heat, pour in the olive oil, and sauté the garlic, then add the shrimp and sauté them too. Add the tomatoes and olives and let them cook down, then stir in the cream, pepper, and salt. Add the pasta to the pan, and after a couple of minutes the dish is ready. Serve it slightly cooled, divided among plates.
