Ukrainian Halushki (Dumplings)
A tasty, easy-to-make dish you're sure to love! I made Ukrainian halushki for the very first time when I'd been married only a few months. My husband and father-in-law asked me to make them. Not letting on that it was my first time, I started winging the dough. Later, once everyone was at the table eating, they asked me whose recipe I'd used. I'm not one for lying, so I told them — my own! As it turned out, they loved the halushki. And the reason, I realized afterward, was that I'd forgotten to add... water to the dough.
