Ukrainian dumplings

A delicious and easy-to-prepare dish is sure to please you! For the first time I cooked Ukrainian dumplings when I was married for several months. My husband and father-in-law asked me to cook this meal. Without showing any sign that I was doing this for the first time, I took it upon myself to make dough at random. Then, when everyone was already eating at the table, I was asked – according to whose recipe I was preparing this dish. I'm not accustomed to lying, that's why I said – according to my recipe! As it turned out later, they really liked the dumplings. And all because, as I realized later, I forgot to put... water in the dough.

So, sift the flour, make a recess in it, and beat 2 eggs into it, which were previously beaten with half a teaspoon of salt. Actively mix everything with flour (flour – how much will it take), beat out the dough with a spoon so that it becomes smooth, but not very steep.

Do we have the broth ready yet? Bring it to a boil and we will take the dough with a spoon, throwing dumplings into the broth (or you can just put it in water if dumplings are a separate dish). They will be ready instantly – as soon as they surface. But I boil them for 3-4 minutes. If it's for the second one, we'll get the dumplings with a slotted spoon, and let the water drain. Put an olive oil in them – and fill it with anything! If it's soup, then we serve dumplings with broth. We'll fill it with green stuff – to your taste. in a colander or on a sieve and let the water drain.

It is good to add sour cream to dumplings seasoned with butter, or fried pork fat, making pork rinds out of them.
