My classmate is coming to me! His birthday is in 2 weeks. He said he wanted to set the table at my place ... they say, think over the menu, and from me – products. I know that nothing will surprise him – he cooks often. I rummaged in my notebook, where a lot of culinary recipes are stored. I see – here it is, the salad is delicious for a birthday – just right.
After all, chicken meat salad is mainly a festive meal. And if also with a melon?! That's it! Chicken meat mixed with some other ingredients, or garlic, or nuts, mushrooms, cheese, etc., will be perfectly combined with anything. And even with a melon.
By the way, according to tradition, in order to make a salad from chicken, its meat needs to be boiled, and then, after cooling, mixed with the rest of the ingredients. After that, what happens should be supplemented with sour cream, mayonnaise or some other dressing, depending on your preferences.
So, while the trial is on, let's remember how this salad is prepared. After all, you can't fall face down in the dirt. Moreover, my classmate is going to make me some kind of offer.. Peel the melon, cut it in half and pull out the bones from it. We will cut off a ringlet from each half. And all the rest - we will cut. By the way, you will achieve the best taste of salad from chicken when you use chicken for this purpose, which is not boiled, but baked in foil. And at the same time, they say, it would be better if the chicken was chilled, not frozen.
So, mix the chopped ingredients – chicken and melon, radish and celery. Add an egg with mayonnaise to them. Now let's cool the resulting. Do not forget that when cooking chicken salad not from white meat, it is better to resort to the grill.
How to serve salad? In different ways. You can fold it in the middle of a melon ring placed on a plate. Or you can do it this way – by cutting the meat into slices, and the melon into pieces, and pour the sauce over everything – at your discretion.
