Banana-Orange Smoothie
A banana smoothie is a healthy drink — refreshing and airy! Besides the banana and milk, you can add all kinds of extra ingredients to a banana smoothie to enhance and play up its already great flavor. It's a good option when you want something sweet, cold, and low-calorie and have to skip the ice cream.
Cooking method

Step 1:
The smoothie ingredients. Plain cold milk with orange juice can curdle a little, and not everyone likes that — so you have to drink it right away, before it reacts. (But my family has fans of exactly that version.) And instead of regular milk you can use almond milk, coconut milk, oat milk, yogurt, kefir, water, or just orange juice. Everyone can find their own version.
-
Step 2:
Wash the fruit. Slice the banana into a tall blender beaker, then squeeze in and add the orange juice.
-
Step 3:
Pour in half the milk and start blending in pulses.
-
Step 4:
Gradually pour in the rest of the milk and blend everything until smooth. Serve immediately.
- Lots of fruits and berries go well with banana, and you can add honey, oats, buckwheat... There are countless options and plenty of room to experiment. It's very quick to make, and it'll always be a wonderful dessert, breakfast, or snack!
