  • First, boil the pasta in salted water. Drain the water and rinse the pasta. Wash the zucchini and spinach. Remove the tough spinach stems—you won't need them. Peel the zucchini and slice it into thin rounds. Then wash the basil, and peel and finely chop the garlic. In a blender jar, combine the basil leaves, olives, garlic, lemon juice, and broth. Season with salt and black pepper. Blend the mixture thoroughly—that's your salad dressing. Combine all the ingredients, pour the dressing over the salad, and your pasta salad is ready. Before serving, it's nice to garnish it with whole basil and spinach leaves. Enjoy.
