1. My vegetables and boil them. Peel and grate all the vegetables on a grater into separate plates.

3. Take the herring and peel it from the bones and cut the fillet into pieces.

4. We spread the salad in layers on a food film (this is so that it is more convenient for us to roll it into a roll) and lubricate each layer with mayonnaise. Alternate layers of beets, carrots, apples (preferably green), potatoes, onions and pieces of herring. Add salt and pepper to your taste. Sprinkle the layer with herring with lemon juice.

5. Carefully roll up into a roll and put it in the refrigerator for impregnation for several hours.

6. Before serving, cut the roll and decorate with herbs, lemon or sprinkle with corn kernels.
