Cooking method

Step 1:
Put the potatoes in cold water and cook for 25–30 minutes after the water comes to a boil.

Step 2:
Meanwhile, finely chop the mushrooms and onion.

Step 3:
Sauté the onion with the mushrooms.

Step 4:
By now the potatoes should be done. Peel them.

Step 5:
Mash the potatoes until smooth.

Step 6:
Add the sautéed mushrooms and onion, plus salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.

Step 7:
Shape into oval patties, roll them in breadcrumbs, arrange on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, and bake in a preheated 400°F (200°C) oven for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.
