Avocado Pasta
A light, tasty dish that's ready in 15 minutes! Italian food is some of my very favorite. Ever since I first tried avocado pasta, I've made it pretty regularly.
To make avocado pasta this way, start by cooking the spaghetti properly. Most of the time, that just means following the directions on the package carefully. My own tip: knock a minute off the time on the label and taste a strand to check it yourself.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
These are the ingredients for the sauce — I'm not pinning down which pasta to use; go with whatever you like, just cook it per the package directions (or until it tastes done).
-
Step 2:
Cut the garlic and avocado into fairly small pieces.
-
Step 3:
Blend the avocado, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper into a smooth purée.
-
Step 4:
Grate the Parmesan, toss the cooked pasta with the sauce, and top with the cheese and capers.
