Any pies start with dough. Everything is traditional here, without improvisations. Sifted wheat flour is combined with sugar, salt and yeast, and then we turn them into a single mass, pouring warm water. We undertake to knead the dough, adding vegetable oil to it.

Let's give the dough a spherical shape. Lubricate its surface with vegetable oil, as well as the bowl in which this ball will lie. Cover with a cloth, for example, a kitchen towel, and leave the dough alone for one hour.

While the dough is rising, we are sorting out the filling for pies. In our case, it's potatoes. We cook it and crush it, mixing it with black pepper and nutmeg. Salt. Chop the dill greens and sprinkle them with mashed potatoes, as well as onions. Thoroughly interfering.

We take out the dough and cut it into two halves. We process both halves into separate balls. The balls are crushed and stretched, so that enough filling fits.We drip a tablespoon on each billet. We make lean pies with potatoes. We are preparing a frying pan. We distribute 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil on its surface.

Well, that's it. Fry the pies until the dough acquires a well-known golden tone. If you need to get rid of excess oil, put them on paper napkins, let them absorb.
