- How do you make fried pelmeni with cheese? Choose a deeper skillet, pour in the vegetable oil, and set it over the heat. Once the oil has warmed up a bit, add the pelmeni, season with pepper and salt, then pour in the water. Fry, covered, for about 10 minutes (stirring occasionally, of course).
- Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, scatter it over the pelmeni, cover, and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish the finished pelmeni with fresh herbs and, while they're hot, serve!
