Fried nototenia in a frying pan

A wonderful and healthy dinner. Prepare and please the family! Nototenia fried in vegetable oil is a simple but very tasty dish. It goes well with any side dish, it turns out to be satisfying and juicy. In our family, both small households and adults like it.

We clean the fish from the scales and from the films inside, cut off the fins, rinse under running water. We make shallow incisions along the entire carcass, sprinkle the fish with lemon juice, salt and pepper.

We breaded the carcasses in flour from all sides, sparing no flour, and spread them on a well-heated frying pan with vegetable oil. On high heat, fry the nototenia on both sides until a golden crust forms, then cover with a lid and, turning down the heat, bring it to full readiness (it takes about 4-5 minutes).

Do not wait until the fish cools down! Serve on the table with any side dish or with a vegetable salad.
