Fried Marinated Oyster Mushrooms

We've tried just about everything! The other day we were given some oyster mushrooms, and I made them in a really unusual way. If you love mushrooms, definitely give this recipe a try — I'm sure it'll win you over.

  • Wash the oyster mushrooms and cut them into pieces. The most important step is the frying: you want to brown each piece in vegetable oil on all sides until it turns a beautiful golden color. To do that, don't crowd the pan — cook the mushrooms in batches so every piece sears well. On a separate plate, combine finely chopped parsley and garlic, sprinkle the herbs with the vinegar, and season with salt and pepper. Choose a container with a lid (a lid is a must!). Arrange the mushrooms in a single layer and spread some of the fragrant garlic-vinegar mixture over the top. Keep layering this way until the container is full. Cover and let it marinate. After 20–30 minutes, uncover your fried-and-marinated oyster mushrooms and enjoy the result! Bon appétit!
