Step-by-step cooking

  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to marinate a kebab with lemon and onion? Prepare the required amount of ingredients. Pork choose the meat part, without bones. It can be a neck or a ham. Take a medium-sized lemon, onion, too.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Peel the onion and rinse in cold water. Wash the lemon with running water using a dirt brush. One lemon will be quite enough. If you take more, the meat will be sour, keep this in mind!

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Cut the prepared pork meat into pieces of a suitable size for a barbecue. The pieces should not be very large, as they will not have time to bake inside. And if they are very small, they will simply dry out at high temperature. All the pieces should be the same size to be cooked at the same time.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Cut the peeled onion into thin half rings. To prevent tears from flowing when slicing onions, hold the onions and the knife in very cold water. Remember the chopped onion with your hands so that the juice starts to flow faster.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

For marinating meat, choose a bowl of the appropriate size. It can be plastic, glass or ceramic. Add the crushed onion to the chopped meat. Squeeze lemon juice directly into the meat with your hands. Add spices to taste. It can be a ready-made set of spices for barbecue or just ground black or red pepper. Navigate according to your taste.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Mix everything well, cover with a lid or cling film and leave to marinate for several hours. My meat was marinated for almost a day. For prolonged marinating, put the meat in the refrigerator. And if you have only 3-5 hours, then you can leave it to marinate at room temperature. During marinating, mix the meat a couple of times. An hour before cooking, add salt to the meat to your liking.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

String well-marinated meat on skewers tightly to each other and cook over hot coals evenly frying from all sides.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Scroll the skewer all the time so that the meat does not burn. Serve the finished meat with fresh vegetables, salad. In addition, you can cook any sauce. Have a nice treat!

Cook with pleasure!
