Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
To prepare a delicious banana dessert, prepare all the necessary ingredients. Do not use bananas that have already ripened, otherwise they will fall apart during cooking. Bananas should be quite dense.
Step 2:
Peel the bananas and cut them into pieces, 1.5-2 centimeters thick. Don't cut them too thin. You can even cut bananas lengthwise, along the entire length.
Step 3:
Melt the butter in a small frying pan. Do this on a low heat so that the oil does not start to burn. Stir the oil so that it melts most evenly.
Step 4:
Then pour the prepared sugar into the melted butter. Stir and leave to warm for a few more minutes.
Step 5:
The sugar will melt and begin to acquire a golden, caramel color. The process must be monitored. The mass will begin to foam. If you miss a little, the sugar can burn. Use a wooden spatula to mix.
Step 6:
Pour water into the caramel mass. Do this carefully, as the mass will begin to hiss and boil. That's how it should be. Stir the mixture and boil for a minute, until the sugar dissolves.
Step 7:
Put sliced bananas in hot caramel. Cook them for a minute on low heat. If the bananas are soft, then the frying time can be slightly reduced. The main thing is that they keep their shape.
Step 8:
Then carefully turn the bananas over and cook for another minute on the other side. To taste, sprinkle the bananas with a small amount of ground cinnamon. Instead of cinnamon, you can sprinkle bananas with sesame seeds.
Step 9:
Caramelized bananas are ready! Put them on a prepared dish and help yourself. They are very tasty both hot and cold. Have a nice treat!
In the process of cooking, bananas acquire a unique caramel taste and aroma.
Such bananas can be served as an independent dessert or supplemented with ice cream, porridge, pancakes or pancakes.
