Cooking method

Cooking time: 10 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

How do you make lavash for breakfast? Let's prep the ingredients. Wash the eggs in warm water and pat them dry. Rinse and dry the herbs.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

We need to cut the lavash to the diameter of the pan. Take a plate the same size as your skillet, set it on the lavash, and carefully trace around it with a knife. Prepare two rounds this way.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

Grate the hard cheese on the large holes of a box grater.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Set the skillet over the heat. You only need a single drop of vegetable oil — drizzle it on and spread it around with a silicone brush. Once the pan is hot, lay down the first round of lavash.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Crack 4 eggs onto the lavash, spacing them out like the four corners. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

Scatter the grated cheese over the eggs. Don't use it all — leave a handful of cheese to sprinkle on top later.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7

Add a little fresh herbs — whatever you like. If you'd rather skip them, you can make it without herbs.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8

Lay the second sheet of lavash on top.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9

Cover the pan with a lid and set the heat to medium. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10

Then carefully flip the stuffed lavash with a spatula and sprinkle the remaining hard cheese on top. Cover and cook over low heat for another 2 minutes.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11

Here's our finished breakfast! Cut it into portions with a pizza cutter or any knife. It's great with coffee or tea, whatever you prefer. Call the family to breakfast!

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12

    Enjoy!

  • If you don't have much time for breakfast in the morning, trust me — you'll have this stuffed lavash ready in 10 minutes. Experiment with different cheeses and different types of lavash, and you'll have a new breakfast every morning. The only rule: the hard cheese needs to melt well. Thin lavash with cheese and eggs is a versatile dish — it works as breakfast, a snack, or an afternoon bite. Try adding pieces of sausage, kielbasa, or cooked meat and it'll turn out amazing. Delicious with both coffee and tea.
