Fried Russula Mushrooms with Potatoes

    1. Rinse the russula mushrooms, clean off any forest debris, and peel the dark film from the caps. Put the cleaned mushrooms in a bowl, pour boiling water over them, and wait until the water cools; then rinse again under running water and cut into large pieces. 2. Peel the onion and cut it into cubes. Put the butter in a skillet, add the vegetable oil, and heat. Sauté the onion until soft, then add the russula mushrooms, season with salt, and fry for 10 minutes. 3. Peel and wash the potatoes, cut them into oblong sticks, and add them to the mushrooms and onion. Continue frying, covered, for about 10 minutes, then remove the lid and fry for another 10 minutes. Serve piping hot — enjoy!
