  • Peel the tiger shrimp, leaving the heads and the tips of the tails on. If you like, do some with the heads on and some without — I prefer mine without, but my husband loves nibbling the heads too! Run a skewer down the back and BE SURE to remove the vein! In a dish, stir together the garlic (put through a press), 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, and the herbes de Provence. Marinate the shrimp in this mixture for at least an hour. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, add the ginger sliced into thin rounds and let it sizzle briefly, then add the shrimp, season with salt, and cook on both sides. Transfer to a platter and serve. Enjoy!
