"The rich man's Wallet" is a hot snack that you can enjoy in the best restaurant in the capital of Hungary "Gundel". It combines two dishes, traditional for Hungarian cuisine – pancakes and paprikash. This is a kind of business card of the Hungarian table. In addition, the snack looks very advantageous on the table. I will also try to organize a piece of "Gundel" in my kitchen.
Let's start cooking snacks with paprika. To do this, I peel the tomato, extract the seeds, and cut it into small pieces. I also cut green pepper into small pieces. In a small saucepan, I heat up a few tablespoons of olive oil and fry the chopped onion. I add 1/2 cup of water to the saucepan, and put pepper, chicken and tomatoes in it. Add a little paprika and simmer the mixture for about 40 minutes over low heat. At this time, I mix cream, sour cream and flour. I take the chicken out of the pan and pour the prepared cream mixture into it, mixing thoroughly. While everything is boiling in the pan, I separate the chicken meat from the bones and cut it into small pieces. I put the chicken meat in the boiling sauce again, salting and peppering it. You can add more paprika.
Now let's move on to the pancakes. I combine milk, flour, sparkling water, egg and salt. I knead a smooth dough, from which I bake thin pancakes in a frying pan with heated butter. I blanch the chives in boiling water for a couple of seconds. I spread the filling on the pancake, and then connect its edges so that a bag turns out. I fix it with a toothpick and tie it with a chives. I put the resulting bags on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 175 degrees for about 5-6 minutes. The dish should be served immediately to the table. You will be pleasantly surprised by the reaction of your guests to this extravagant snack.
