Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Preparing the products from the list. We will make the dough on sour cream, and not on kefir, as many are more accustomed to.
Step 2:
Pour sour cream into a deep bowl. Add the soda and wait until it goes out.
Step 3:
Beat eggs into sour cream and beat everything well with a whisk until smooth.
Step 4:
In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, salt and sugar. If you don't like sweet pancakes, then add less sugar.
Step 5:
Add the flour mixture to the sour cream and knead the dough, which resembles fat sour cream in density. We give the dough a little stand and rest. Before frying pancakes, you do not need to crumple it.
Step 6:
Pour refined vegetable oil into the pan and warm it up well. We make a medium fire. We collect the dough with a spoon and spread it on the pan in the form of neat cakes. For this purpose, you can use a special silicone mold with round holes. In it, the pancakes are the same size, the same shape, all one to one as a selection - perfectly round, with smooth edges. Fry the pancakes on both sides until browning.
Step 7:
Now you know how to cook fluffy pancakes on sour cream. If you do everything right, you will get loose and airy pancakes with an amazing taste at the exit. You can serve them with sour cream, yogurt, condensed milk, jam (strawberry, raspberry, apricot, cherry, etc.) or jam (apple, plum, etc.).
Russian pancakes are a native Russian dish, which over the centuries has turned from the food of commoners into a delicacy of nobles, and then into a Russian version of American fast food. This dish has been lovingly fed to their grandchildren by more than one generation of caring Russian grandmothers. Now this dish is very suitable as a delicious and hearty meal for breakfast or lunch. Choose sour cream with a fat content of at least 20%, then you will definitely get the dough at the highest level and the result will not disappoint you. Eat with appetite!
