- Pulse the mushrooms and onion in a blender until finely chopped, then fry them in vegetable oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add a tablespoon of flour, stir, and pour in a cup of cream. Bring to a boil and let it reduce a little. Pulse the cabbage in the blender as well and spread it in a baking dish. Pour the creamy mushroom mixture over it and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes, keeping it covered with foil for the first 10 (so the cheese doesn't burn before the cabbage is done).
