Step 1:
BATTER:
- Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

- Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each.

- Add the flour and baking powder and mix.

Step 4:
FILLING:
- Peel the tangerines and separate them into segments.
- Let the segments sit for an hour so the membranes dry out a little.

Step 5:
- Soak the dried fruits in the liqueur for 30 minutes.

Step 6:
- Heat a skillet and add the butter and sugar.
- Lay in the tangerine segments and fry for a few minutes on each side.
- Transfer to a plate to cool.

Step 7:
- Add the liqueur-soaked dried fruits to the same skillet.
- Warm them through until the alcohol cooks off.

Step 8:
CAKE:
- Grease the pan with butter and dust it with flour.
- Fold the cooled dried fruits into the batter, mixing gently.
- Spoon the batter into the pan in layers, alternating with the tangerine segments.
- Bake for about 1 hour in an oven preheated to 350°F (180°C), testing for doneness with a wooden skewer.

DECORATION:
- Let the cake cool.
- Dust with powdered sugar.
- Sprinkle with lemon zest.
- Arrange tangerine segments on top.
- Add sprigs of rosemary.
- Brush lightly with egg white.
- Sprinkle with fine sugar (for a snowy effect).
