Cooking method
- To make these, first shred the cabbage and braise it until tender. Then grind it in a meat grinder, stir in the semolina, and cook it over low heat for about 20 minutes — once the mixture starts pulling away from the sides of the pan, you can turn off the heat. Let it cool, then add salt, the eggs, and the onion (sautéed in butter first), and mix thoroughly. Shape the mixture into patties, coat them in breadcrumbs, and fry until golden. Serving the patties drizzled with melted butter makes them even better. It's a really tasty dish, filling enough on its own, though it can go with a side of your choice too. Enjoy!
