Cooking method
I found this culinary recipe in some culinary newspaper. Although it is not so easy to cook it, you will not be disappointed. This food is perfect for any festive dinner or lunch. It combines the usual ingredients, but, at the same time, is a traditional Irish dish. The highlight of this pork is that it is fried with the addition of cider, which gives it a delicious flavor.
For convenience, we will divide the cooking process into two parts. At the first stage, we will do the filling. For her, boil potatoes in salted water and let them cool. Take the apples and cut them into cubes. After that, chop the sage, thyme and onion. Take a deep plate or bowl and put potatoes, apples, onions and spices there. Everything needs to be thoroughly mixed, the potatoes can be carefully crushed.
Let's move on to the second stage. Take pork steaks and rub them with salt, pepper and oil. Next, lay them on the edges of fireproof dishes, pour cider and cover with foil. Be sure to make 5-6 holes in the foil to ensure air flow. Bake the steaks in a preheated 200 degree oven for about 1 hour.
When serving, put the steak on a plate first, and the filling on it. If desired, you can add more cider and spices. That's all, bon appetit!
