Hawaii is far away from us, and we can't afford to fly there every day just to taste the local food. Therefore, I decided to translate from English a few recipes of Hawaiian dishes. I think you'll like them.
Take a large cauldron, and fry in vegetable oil or margarine first sausage, diced, and then add ground beef. Fry all this until golden brown, add the mixture for dressing and a little Tabasco sauce.
In a separate saucepan or frying pan with high walls, fry green chili, diced onion, diced bell pepper, and sprinkle with black pepper (peas).
We put all this in a saucepan with meat. We also send beans there. Add water. Cook over low heat for 3-4 hours, stirring constantly. If the sauce remains liquid by the end of cooking, then you can add a little corn or potato starch to it.
Boil the rice separately. We put the rice on a platter and put our chili sauce on top of it. The author of the recipe also adds that this dish is good to wash down with light weak beer.
