Cooking method
Once I studied the book "Cuisines of the peoples of the world". I wanted to taste something new, unknown, untested. I was interested in the cuisine of Latvia, they say it is simple and satisfying. Having stopped at the recipe for a peasant breakfast, I decided to make sure of this.
So, we will need a smoked loin and sausage. Cut them into neat slices (not too thin) and fry with onions. We pre-cook the potatoes, cut them into slices about 1 cm thick, fry them separately in butter and put them in a frying pan alternating with meat products.
Now beat the eggs with milk and add salt and pepper. Fill the potatoes with this mixture and send them to the oven for baking. It won't take much time at all. Before serving, we sprinkle our breakfast with finely chopped green onions. It would not be bad to serve this food separately with crispy pickles.
Well, it's really simple, satisfying, and most importantly very tasty!
After all, these Latvian peasants did not have a bad breakfast.
For such a breakfast, a glass of vodka and a Russian pickle and that's it - the day is free.
