Step-by-step cooking
Beetroot caviar is one of my husband's favorite snacks. He uses it with almost any food: meat dishes and poultry, vegetables and cereals. That's why I often, especially in winter, cook it. And now I will share with you this simple culinary recipe. We start by boiling the pre-washed beetroot for about 10 minutes, then peel it and rub it on a coarse grater. After that, pour the oil into the pan and fry the peeled, finely grated carrots on it for a few minutes. Then add the prepared beets to the carrots and simmer our vegetable mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, for 25-30 minutes. After this time, salt and pepper the vegetables to taste, add finely chopped and fried onions and simmer for about 10 minutes. After this time, remove the beetroot caviar from the fire, add the finely chopped garlic head, mix, cool a little, put it in a bowl and serve it to the table. Enjoy your appetite and your loved ones!
