It always seemed to me that the recipes of Arabic cuisine are very difficult to prepare. But when I saw the recipe of the fool, I realized that I was wrong. Its culinary recipe is simple both in preparation and in composition. It is preferable to cook ful in the season of young beans, but frozen pods can also be used. So, for a fule we will need 250 g of green bean pods. Wash the beans, peel them from the "threads" along the pod and break them into large pieces with our hands. Then we take the onion, finely chop it and fry it a little in olive oil in a hot frying pan. Add the bean pods to the onion, cover with a lid and simmer for a few minutes, shaking the pan from time to time. While the beans and onions are stewing, we make an incision crosswise on the washed tomatoes and pour boiling water over them. We peel them from the skin and cut them into slices (you can wipe them — whoever prefers). Add tomato juice, ground pepper, sugar (for a sweet taste), tomatoes, salt to the beans. And stew the ful until ready. We season the finished food with lemon juice and let the dish brew. Ful is served as a cold appetizer. Before serving, the dish is decorated with a sprig of parsley. By the way, this recipe is quite suitable for vegetarians.
