Probably every family has recipes that are passed down from generation to generation. This recipe for delicious chicken in pomegranate sauce was told to me by my grandmother. So, first we need to prepare a marinade, for which we mix pomegranate juice, wine, honey, add lemon zest and juice, chopped garlic, coriander, salt and pepper. We put chicken legs in the marinade and leave them in the refrigerator for 4 hours so that the chicken is properly soaked in pomegranate marinade. Then we take it out, heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the chicken until a delicate blush and take it out.
Now we need to cook the most important thing - the sauce! To do this, pass the onion in a frying pan, add sugar, tomatoes, previously peeled and grated, pour in the marinade, bring the mixture to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Then we put the chicken in a frying pan, close the lid and cook for 20-30 minutes, sometimes turning it over. When serving, pour the sauce and decorate with pomegranate seeds. You can cook rice as a side dish. This food goes well with good red wine and will perfectly decorate any festive table. Enjoy your meal!
