Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to bake shrimp with cheese? Prepare all the necessary products. Remove the shrimp from the freezer and leave at room temperature until completely thawed. When I need to defrost the shrimp quickly, I fill them with cool water, drain the water after 20-30 minutes, and dry the clams with paper towels.
Step 2:
Peel the onion and garlic. Cut off the tails of the beans. If you are using mature pods, remove the tendrils on the sides. Rinse lemon, onion and garlic. Chop the brine cheese with your hands or a knife into small fragments.
Step 3:
Peel the shrimp from the shells, remove the heads and tails. Remove the vein on the back of each clam. Dry the shrimp meat with napkins.
Step 4:
Put the shrimp in a deep dish or other container. Add olive oil or any odorless vegetable oil, squeeze half a lemon, season with salt and pepper. Chop the garlic with a knife or pass it through a press, send it to a plate. Mix everything thoroughly and leave to marinate for 5-10 minutes.
Step 5:
At this time, pour boiling water over the bean pods and leave in this way for a couple of minutes. If the beans are not very young, then throw them into boiling water and boil for one or two minutes, then they will be softer in the finished dish.
Step 6:
Place an even layer of green beans on the bottom of the baking dish.
Step 7:
Put the pickled shrimp on top, as well as the onion, pre-sliced with not very thin feathers. For a more appetizing look of the finished dish, I used red onion, but you can take the usual onion. Spread the marinade that remains from the shrimp over the products.
Step 8:
Put the mold in a preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 degrees on the "top-bottom" mode. The baking time may increase slightly, focus on the shrimp, they should turn red and curl into rings. Remove the shrimp from the oven and immediately sprinkle with cheese. While the dish is hot, the cheese will melt slightly, which will give a special zest to shrimp with vegetables. Spread the olives over the cheese and shrimp. Sprinkle the dish with herbs.
Step 9:
If desired, sprinkle with lemon juice again and lightly pepper before serving. Ready!
Instead of green string beans, you can use young asparagus. It is perfectly combined with all the ingredients in the recipe, besides it contains a lot of vitamins.
I really like to sprinkle the baked shrimp with cheese with frozen or fresh mixture of Provencal herbs at the end of cooking. Shrimp, olives, cheese and fragrant herbs are the perfect combination.
Bon appetit!
If you use ready-made spice mixes, be sure to read the composition on the package. Often, salt is already present in such mixtures, take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting the dish.
Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information about the features of ovens !
So that the oven has time to heat up to the desired temperature, turn it on in advance (10-20 minutes before the start of cooking).
