Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make homemade lemonade from oranges? Prepare everything you need for this. For the lemonade itself, only one orange is needed. But if you want to add a few slices to a decanter or glasses, then have one more in stock. For lemonade, choose a larger orange. I have it weighs 280 grams. Rinse it thoroughly and pour boiling water over it.
Step 2:
Put the orange in the freezer for 2-3 hours so that it freezes. Then pull it out and let it heat up at room temperature so that it can be easily sliced. Why freeze an orange? After defrosting, there will be more juice from it and the bitterness that comes from the peel will go away.
Step 3:
Cut the thawed orange into pieces, remove the bones and put it in the bowl of the chopper.
Step 4:
Chop the orange to a fine state. It is not necessary to grind to a puree state.
Step 5:
Put the crushed orange in a saucepan and pour 500 ml of water. Stir and leave to stand for 30-40 minutes to infuse the drink.
Step 6:
Then strain the drink through a fine sieve. Add another 1.5 liters of water, sugar and citric acid to the filtered drink. Mix everything well until the sugar dissolves and put the drink in the refrigerator to infuse and cool a little. By the amount of sugar, focus on your taste and the sweetness of the orange itself.
Step 7:
To quickly cool down, add a few ice cubes to the glass with the drink. Such a drink is stored for a day at room temperature. But he drinks much faster. Have a nice treat!
Instead of citric acid, you can add a little lemon juice.
To make the sugar dissolve faster, you can first add it to a small amount of warm water, stir and then add it to the drink with the remaining amount of water.
Instead of sugar, you can use a sweetener.
For cooking, it is better to use filtered or bottled water that is neutral to taste. If you use tap water, keep in mind that it can give the dish an unpleasant characteristic taste.
